Fannie Mae freeze is thawing
The rumor has been confirmed that the Fannie Mae freeze is thawing. Several REO Brokers across the country had received notice from Fannie Mae stating they can close on all “Offer Accepted” cases previously on hold due to Servicer Affidavit issues. Properties previously market as “Unable To Market” are expected to be available next week, possibly as soon as Monday, but no one knows for sure.
