According to the Bay County Association of Realtors (BCAR), real estate sales have continued to improve in 2014, with a 16.4 percent increase in closed sales for the first quarter of 2014 while the second quarter showed a 6.8 percent increase. In June of 2014, closed sales were up 11.7 percent followed by a 25.5 percent increase in July. The average days on market for listings is down; another important indicator of the overall strength of the Panama City Beach real estate market.
